For this, first you need to have your register mobile number, which was given at the time of forming Aadhaar card. If your number is not activated or you do not have it then go to the Base Enrollment Center and update it. Because the One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the mobile number during the update process. You can only update your name, address, gender, date of birth, mobile number and email address online.

Let’s know what is the process?

For this you must first go to Self Service Update Portal. Type your base number there. After that OTP will come in your registered mobile number. Now add OTP and go to Update Portal. After this you will get the base data update request. After that you choose the option that you want to update. After selecting the option, the base update form will appear in front of you. Here you update your information according to the need. Here the name and address information will also be updated in Hindi along with English. Check your new information once. After the inquiry is completed, click Submit Submit Request.

Base Update Document Upload:

The change you applied for The documents related to it will be submitted. In order to change your name, date of birth and address, you will have to give a document related to it. The documentation will not be required to update the other information.

You must give your identity card for change in name. For identity card, you can give papers such as passport, PAN card, ration / PDS photo card, voter ID and driver’s license. Tell that its list is longer. To know about all the valid papers, go to the aadhar self service update portal.

After this, to change your date of birth, you will have to give birth certificate, secondary board pass certificate or a photo copy of passport. Proof of address will be required to change the address. In which you can give documents such as passport, bank statement, bank passbook, post office account passbook, ration card and voter card. Let us know that all the documents that you upload will be self-signed photocopies. Do not use the same document for two changes. It is worthwhile to give different documents for this.

Select the BPO Service Provider:

After uploading the necessary documents, select the appropriate option from the BPO Service Provider. Submit the request now. After this you will get an update request number. Take it down and write it down. You can download or print a copy of the update request. Let us know that the UIDAI website clearly states that information will not be updated from the application for updates to the base data. The new information you have given will be updated only after checking it.
